Mindego Hill rises along the slopes of Skyline Ridge near the intersection of Skyline Boulevard and Alpine Road on the Peninsula.
Located within a strategic swath of nearly 33,000 acres of open space, Mindego Hill is a critical link in a chain of open lands extending along the spine of the Santa Cruz Mountain range. Surrounded by an extensive network of already-protected natural lands, the property is adjacent to Midpeninsula Regional Open Space District’s (MROSD) Russian Ridge Open Space Preserve and POST-protected Rapley Ranch.
Explore Mindego Hill two different ways:
1. For an interactive, virtual flyover, install Google Earth. Then download the Mindego Hill KML file by right + clicking (PC) or CTRL + clicking (Mac) here. If you're using Safari, CTRL + click the above link. This will download a text file (.txt). Rename the file so that it ends in .kml. Double-click the .kml file and it will load in Google Earth. |
